Pentland Pet Services
How often have you been unable to enjoy a day away because you have pets?

Pentland Pet Services could be the answer.

As an animal lover all her life, founder of Inverclyde Animal Welfare & Advisory Group, and a dog trainer/ handler for over thirty years Anne Russell is pleased to offer PPS - a service to suit you, and your pets, needs. Her husband Ross, another animal lover, also contributes to PPS and has a special affinity with cats, and has in the past owned and cared for smaller pets such as budgies and hamsters. PPS provides:

Pet Day Care - worry-free days for you and your pet with each 'lodger' given care, attention, walks, and any individual needs catered for after an initial meet & greet to discuss specifics. Rest assured the pet lodgers will be in a pet friendly environment within the home including a secure patio garden, and excellent walking and exercise areas minutes away.

Pet Lodging - as above, but with the flexibility for extended stays. Please note in respect of both Day Care and longer Lodging periods up to two 'family' pets can be considered and catered for, which can include smaller 'caged' animals (hamsters, budgerigars, etc).

Please note before any pet lodges for the first time, a 'Pre-Lodging' visit is required to assess suitability, and to provide assurance for the owners.

Pet Sitting - could be deemed more suitable for a particular pet as an alternative to Lodging.
For example, cat/s or other animals such as dogs that are more comfortable within their own surroundings. The same fee's apply, with arrangements discussed at Pre-Lodging stage.
Please note this service is also dependent on locality.

Please note owners' are required to provide food for each pet over the duration of the stay, and although PPS are happy to provide bedding and 'toys' as necessary, it is recommended that for the pets' comfort and reassurance specific items such as sleeping blankets, travel crates, favourite toys and the like accompany the pet.

'One to One' Training - Basic 6 week training courses available to give you and your dog a good start. Specific behavioural issues and refresher courses considered following free consultation service.

Pet Treats - A variety of dog treats (named after satisfied canine customers!) are now available, made to order, including:

'Benjamin Brownies' - a liver treat favourite!

'Jake Cakes' - Garlic, Apple and Cheese Muffins.

'Rufus Doofers' - Bone shaped vegetable cookies.

Full list of treats can be found under 'Treats Menu', and other treats such as 'Birthday Cakes' (small medium & large) can also be ordered.

Treats can be ordered by phone or email with only a few days notice usually required (subject to demand).
